10 years ago today you passed away. Every year the memory of my post pops up on Facebook. It´s crazy to think about how much has changed since you´ve been gone. But I will never forget you. I will never forget those times we hung out or how much my son liked you that one time you came over. He talked about you for awhile. He´s 19 now! Your kids are all grown now! Lisa´s daughter is a full on woman now! It´s just nuts. Anyway I just found this site for you today so I decided to write you and tell you thanks. Thanks for being a great guy and a caring friend.

Jason,
Words cant express how much I am missing you right now. I know I am not alone. We all miss you. I have so many memories of us that I will always hold close to my heart. U and I would sit and play these competitive card games and laugh. I will forever miss those days. You were the most amazing guy I think I ever met. You were always so genuine and such a loving father. You loved everyone elses kids like your own. I know you told me that you were going to fly out for my college graduation in a few weeks. Jay~ I know you will still be there. I will miss our texts and our phone calls. I still talk to you, just in a different way now. Rest easy my friend. U will always forever hold a special place in my heart. Oh and I will see you again!!! Missing that shy little smile always

It's hard to accept the death of someone who was so full of life. Jason Sanchez defined what it means to be human; to seize the day, to savor every breath, to appreciate the light that keeps us at bay. You won't find many people like that in this day and age. He was exceptional. He was apart of so many lives. He was the glue that held so many families together. He was a more-than-uncle to me. An irreplaceable best friend. He could always laugh, even in the face of struggle. Before all of this, I never cared if there was an afterlife. But now, I want there to be something more. For Jason, I want there to be something more. Jason may have been young, but his life was certainly full.
Jason, I'll never forget your grin, I'll never forget your hearty ways, I'll never forget the conversations we've had. Even when I look back, ten, twenty years from now, whether I be a firefighter or paramedic or something entirely different, your face will always be first in sight. I'll never forget. No, the memories are just too sweet. This isn't goodbye... I'll see you somewhere, somehow, someday — I swear by it. We love you, Jason.

Jason we will never forget you, your smile, your big heart, your generosity, the love you had for your children and Mom and also how much you genuinely loved our children as well. Jeremiah will miss you as his side kick at work. We will miss our camping trips, our fishing trips, our late night banana splits, our macaroni and cheese cookouts, the list is endless. We find solace knowing that you are resting in peace in heaven and will always cherish our deep friendship. Catch a big one up there buddy!!
