Jay S. Pick, 54, formerly of Cuero, Texas passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. He was born in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on July 31, 1962 to Gloria Ann Stirl Buchhorn and the late JT Homer Pick.
Jay worked for several oil and construction companies and many years for CCC Construction Company. Jay was known to "fix" anything and everything that you brought him and if he couldn't find the part, he would make it!
He is survived by his mother, Gloria Ann Stirl Buchhorn and step-father, Ray Buchhorn; wife, Donna Sharp Box Pick; daughters, Rebecca Meredith (James) and Amanda Pick (Kyle); sons, William Pick and Markus Pick; sister, Peggy Spears (Travis); brother, Luther Pick (Denise); step sons, Jason Box and Layne Box, Jr.; step-sisters, Gail Brady (Kyle), Connie Hermes(Doug); step-brother, Roger Buchhorn (Beverly); loving aunt, Lucille Poston; and 7 grandchildren.
Jay was preceded in death by his father and brother, Robert Allen Pick.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Colonial Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Faltysek officiating.
