Born on Sept 28th 1938, Jayne Wakeham peacefully passed away on Sept 5th 2017, surrounded by family and friends. Jayne grew up in Hawaii, lived in Texas for 40 years, and during her life travelled to many places all over the world. A Punahou High School, Michigan State University, and Texas Christian University graduate, she worked as a family counselor in the DFW area for over 30 years. She is survived by her sister Linnea Horsnell, her son Alan Wakeham and wife Doris, her granddaughter Sara Wakeham, as well as family and friends in Hawaii and all over the world. A celebration of Jayne's life will be held at Moore and Sons Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington TX, on Monday September 11, 2017 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make donations to either the Humane Society or the Nature Conservancy.
