Jayne Garcia Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 20, 2013.

Jayne Garcia, 60, of Auburn, California passed June 20, 2013. She was born May 25, 1953 in Pittsburg, Kansas and lived in Missouri as a child, later moving to California with her family while still at a young age. She split her time between Auburn, California, close to her extended family, and North Lake Tahoe, where she enjoyed the beauty of the sierras as a homemaker and a onetime innkeeper.

She took joy from puzzling, arts and crafts and spending as much time as possible with her 5 sons and grandson.

Although she faced adversity and trials throughout her life, she persevered with a strength and resolve which stands as an inspiration to her family and friends.

She is survived by her father, Oak, brothers Joe and Jim, sisters Sharleen and Linda, sons Mike, Mark, Matt, Nick and Dylan, grandson Jhaelen and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Dorothy and her dear sister, Laurel.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 28, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Chapel of the Hills, 1331 Lincoln Way, Auburn, California. Please sign the online guestbook at www.chapelofthehills-auburn.com

I Loved my sister Dearly , She was my inspiration when I was young , She did things her way and it always seemed to work out. Jayne Took care of me and my brother Jim growing up as both our parents worked. She did very well by us. Her sons had a Veteran Mother from the start because my brother and I put her through many challenges...! Im missing her Greatly. Rock On my Sister!
