Dear Gee Gee,
Oh how much I miss you and wish you were able to witness my wedding in person. Your love and financial guidance is more than anyone I know can give. Your knowledge about life bypasses most by far. Your wisdom to guide ones decisions in the right path is immeasurable. There will never be anyone like you. I'm blessed not only to know you and to be in relation with you but to have your blood running in me. I just hope I can be half the women you were. I love you and miss you more than words can explain.

Gee Gee taught me that life was meant to be lived fully; love to be given without strings, and that everyone deserves respect no matter what. Gee Gee was my greatest teacher, the love of my heart, and my inspiration. "Do what you gotta do, and make the best of it" is real advice from a woman who lived it, not just shared it. May we all glean from her tremendous life lessons, and example, for in it she too may live through us, for her memory shall long live in me.... because she first loved me. I too shall always find a way to love others. I too loved you Gee Gee and always will.

Such a wonderful lady with a wonderful family. Jean was a dear friend and former roommate to my mother at UT, who will miss her very much. Jean and Arnett were like godparents to me and my brother before they had their own family. She was effervescent with fun, life, and goodness and will be very missed.

Though we had met only on the phone and FaceTime, Gee Gee was one of the most gracious women I have ever met. Her love for her family and life itself was evident. She had a smile that would light up a room. I'm so blessed to have known her , if even for such a short time. May God bless her family and give them a loving peace during this difficult time.
