Graveside services for Omega Virginia (Jean) Hill Cloud of Houston will be at Killeen City Cemetery at two in the afternoon, Saturday, December 9, 2017.
Mrs. Cloud was born April 14, 1936 in Dallas. She died December 6, 2017 in Houston, where she and her husband, Artie Cloud, formerly of Killeen, had lived for many years.
Jean, as she was lovingly called, was preceded in death by her parents, J. T. Hill and Reba Deaton Hill, and by her daughter, Brenda Barnett.
She is survived by her brother, Johnson Turk Hill; her daughters, Vickie Richards and husband Harrol, Gwendolyn Sandefer, and Jerri Ann Dawson; stepson, Jeremy Cloud and wife Amy; son-in-law, Kenneth Barnett; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jean loved her husband, her family, and maybe mainly, her many pets. She was kind, giving, and unassuming to all. For many years she worked tirelessly with her husband.
One of Jean's favorite and often quoted Bible verses was 2 Corinthians 5:8 – We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
Rest in peace with the Lord, Jean.
