Graveside services for Jean Alice Margaret Beaulieu, age 84 of County Route 10 DePeyster, will be held Saturday (Nov 2, 2013) at 2:00pm at the Purmort Cemetery in DePeyster, with Rev. F. James Shurtleff officiating. Mrs. Beaulieu passed away Wednesday evening Oct 30, 2013 at the Riverledge Healthcare Facility surrounded by her loving family. Surviving are her children and their spouses, Hugh Beaulieu Jr. of Heuvelton, Richard & Sheila Beaulieu of DePeyster, Steve & Tammy Beaulieu of Ogdensburg, Rodger Beaulieu of Syracuse, Randy & Doreen Beaulieu of Ogdensburg, Evelyn & Bill Hockey of Rochester, Diane & Steve Dority of Black Lake, Debbie & John Hockey Jr. of Virginia, Lori Pike of Heuvelton and Trudy & Terry Covey of Ogdensburg; 38 Grandchildren, 28 Great-Grandchildren; along with a sister Eileen French of Brasher Falls.

She was predeceased by her husband Hugh Beaulieu Sr. in 2001, a son Ronald Beaulieu in 1991 and a daughter Brenda Beaulieu in 1959.

Jean was born on March 27, 1929 in Norfolk, NY a daughter of the late James & Julianne Brothers. She married Hugh Beaulieu Sr. on September 27, 1947 at the Church of Visitation in Norfolk. She was a past member of the Heuvelton Am Vets Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed playing bingo, yahtzee and cards. She devoted her entire life to caring for her family and her gentle loving presence will be forever cherished by her children and grandchildren.
