Jean E. Weaver, 87, was born in Hornell New York, daughter of Willard Hendee and Pauline Sick Hendee. She had three brothers, Clark, James and Dale Hendee. Jean graduated from Hornell High School in 1942. Three years later, Jean met Bob Weaver and they were married in Hornell in June of 1947. In 1950 they moved to Colorado, where they raised their three daughters and have resided ever since. They have been married for 65 wonderful years. Jean graduated from Hornell High School in 1942. Three years later, Jean met Bob Weaver and they were married in Hornell in June of 1947. In 1950 they moved to Colorado, where they raised their three daughters and have resided ever since. They have been married for 65 wonderful years.
Jean was a homemaker and was very well known for being a great cook. She always enjoyed entertaining friends and family. She was a life-long church member and was always eager to give back to her community. She was a long time member of the ladies par 3 league and golfed up until last year. Other interests throughout her life were Bible studies, painting, traveling, shopping and enjoying life in general. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend.
She is survived by her husband, Bob, and her daughters, Cheryl (Randy) Murray, Linda Weaver, and Donna (Raymond) Wells. Her Grandchildren are Tamra, Greg and Julie Wobermin (Fiancé Luke Fischer), Kayla Murray, Erin Haury and Hyacinth Connor. Her Great Grandchildren are Trinity and Madison Connor, and Holly Miller.
Visitation/greeting with family Wednesday, June 13th, 4-6pm at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary, 29th & Wadsworth.
Committal service Thursday, June 14th, 10:15am, Area "C" at Fort Logan National Cemetery. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:30am at Heritage Community Church, 5615 W. 64th Avenue, Arvada, CO 80003.
