Jeanette Morgan, age 73, of Bean Station, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at her home. She was a loving wife and friend of 54 years to her husband, Clarence and a loving mother and grandmother to her son and grandchildren. She was a member of Brewer's Chapel in Sneedville. Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Robert and Surilda Royston Barnard; brothers, Chester James and Henry "Joe" Barnard; and sisters, Gladys Morgan, Naomi Kinsler and Elsie Flo Ford.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence Morgan; son and daughter-in-law, Clyde (Ilona) Morgan; grandchildren, Craig Morgan and Matej Grycz; great-grandchildren, Marilyn Sue Morgan and Bailee Sue Morgan; siblings, Ploma Seals, Lois Wolfe, Faye (Eddie) Robertson, Ivy Lee (Terry) Helton, Deanna (Mike) Atkins and Kenneth (Rena) Barnard; sister-in-law, Maggie Jacobi; special nieces, Renee and Geneva; and several more nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 6 – 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Ralph Morgan and Rev. Carl Ray Cope officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home to go in procession to Bent Creek Cemetery on Monday, September 19th at 2:15 p.m. for a 3:00 p.m. graveside service.
Services are under the direction of Stubblefield Funeral Home.
