Mrs. Jeanette Garrett Patterson, 95, of Easley, wife of the late Boaz Patterson, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Manna Health and Rehabilitation.
Born in Pickens County on April 24, 1921, she was raised by her grandparents, “Shop” Ed and Sarah Merck Garrett.
She is survived by two children, Luke (Beth) Patterson and Sara Jo Raue; five grandchildren, Jill Schmidt, April Turner, Tracy Harbin, Jan Maready and Angie Long; ten great grandchildren, Joshua and Jesse Harbin, Ashley and Emily Turner, Jennifer Cromer, Lindsey Jones, Ayla Dean, Clay Maready, Darra and Ivy Long, and nine great great-grandchildren. She is also predeceased by two grandchildren, Jason Patterson and Gina Jones.
Jeanette loved her Savior Jesus Christ and her family, and enjoyed working in her flower gardens. She was a member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church and was well loved by all her family and friends and will be missed.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation prior from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m.
