Jeanette Hopkins Ayers, 61 died Thursday at her home. She was born June 19, 1950 in Washington County, to the late Darrell L. Hopkins and Jacqueline Lewis. She was married August 25, 1978 to Jay Ayers and a member of the Gospel Light Church of Christ, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher for several years. Surviving is her husband Jay Ayers of Williamston, Daughters; Amy Emerson & Husband Paul of Grimesland, Laura White and husband Brian of Winterville, Sister; Deborah Peel and husband Mack of Williamston, Brothers, Darrell Hopkins & Danny Hopkins of Williamston 2 Grandchildren Brooks Emerson of Grimesland & Gavin...
Jeanette Hopkins Ayers, 61 died Thursday at her home. She was born June 19, 1950 in Washington County, to the late Darrell L. Hopkins and Jacqueline Lewis. She was married August 25, 1978 to Jay Ayers and a member of the Gospel Light Church of Christ, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher for several years.

Surviving is her husband Jay Ayers of Williamston, Daughters; Amy Emerson & Husband Paul of Grimesland, Laura White and husband Brian of Winterville, Sister; Deborah Peel and husband Mack of Williamston, Brothers, Darrell Hopkins & Danny Hopkins of Williamston 2 Grandchildren Brooks Emerson of Grimesland & Gavin White of Winterville and Nephew Jason Brown and wife Traci of Winterville.

Services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Gospel Light Church of Christ By Rev. Jim Cooper, Rev. Elbert Lilley & Tommy Leopard, burial will be at Martin Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the Gospel Light Church of Christ, and other times at the home.

In lieu of memorials may be made to the Gospel Light Church of Christ
