Jeanine E. Sifers, 78, of Gladstone, Missouri went to the arms of our Lord on Saturday, November 26. She was born in Lancaster, Wisconsin to Floyd and Naomi Mullnix and resided in St. Joseph Missouri. She was a 1956 graduate of Central High School and married her loving husband Jerome W. Sifers, also of St. Joseph, who preceeded her in death.
Jeanine was employed at Missouri Western Health Center for over 30 years and was extremely active with the Bolling Heights Community Board, encouraging her neighbors "get on the move to make a difference" in Gladstone.
She is survived by her three daughters Jennifer Robertson of San Mateo, California; Janice Sifers of Louisburg, Kansas; and Johanna Shuler of Kansas City, Missouri, plus three grandchildren, Callie Robertson, Marissa Hubbard, and Alec Shuler.
A visitation is set for December 17th at McGilley Antioch Chapel in Kansas City, Missouri from noon until 1 p.m. followed by a memorial service at the chapel until 2 p.m., a cemetery service will follow at Terrace Park. A Celebration of Life will be held the same day at the Gladstone Community Center beginning at 3 p.m. The family suggests casual attire with your favorite team's sport shirt for the service and celebration. Jeanine enjoyed many sports, such as the Royals, Chiefs, Mizzou, and NASCAR.
Donations can be sent to her charities, which include Special Olympics, Breast Cancer Awareness, St. Jude, Shriners and Hospice. Condolences to the family can be left with McGilley Antioch Chapel.

Very sorry for your loss. It's been many years ago, but I have fond memories when we got together for the holidays (cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents).

Jeanine was a great friend when we both worked at the same facility. Our friendship continued after we both retired. Missing you and know your family does too.

So sorry for the loss of your beautiful mother Johanna. Your mom was very kind and sweet to me and I enjoyed being her UPS man for all those years or I would have never known the special lady that she was.

So sorry to hear about Jeanine - cannot ever remember seeing her without a smile on her face - always so positive and upbeat. I will miss her so much but have a lot of good memories of us sitting around Winnie's table with a little wine, dominos and lots of laughs. Know your own memories will help you through this difficult time. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
