Jeanne Addessi, 93, of Great Kills, a homemaker and the loving matriarch of three generations of her family, died Tuesday in Addeo Hospice House, Egbertville.
Born and raised Jeanne Pizzuto in Manhattan, she later moved to Brooklyn. She came to Great Kills to live with her son Thomas in 2013.
Mrs. Addessi enjoyed solving word search puzzles, knitting and was fond of chocolate.
She was a parishioner of St. Simon's R.C. Church, Brooklyn.
Her husband of 46 years, Anthony, died in 1987.
Surviving, along with her son, Thomas, are her son, Anthony; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Thursday from the Casey McCallum Rice South Shore Funeral Home, with a mass at 9:45 a.m. in St. Clare's R.C. Church, both Great Kills. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, L.I.
