Terry, Kristin and Lee: We are so sorry for Jeanne's passing. She was a warm, caring, fun and wonderful friend and neighbor for 35 years. We will miss her smile every time we saw her. She did so much for the Mason College Club and all her volunteer work at McLaren. She was so loving and always concerned about people, ready for adventure and a truly amazing person. We will always remember the dinner dates, sitting by her fireplace and of course the "Great Onion Contest" We will miss her greatly. The world is a little less now but Heaven all the fuller.

Dearest Terry, Kristin, Lee and extended family. I was so saddened to hear of Jeanne's passing. We just recently shared e-mails, talking about Issues facing Terry and her plan that she had in place.

Jeanne and I worked across the hall from one another when she worked for David Mills in Okemos, 1970. Our friendship continued all of these years. I loved her yearly updates, she and Terry so very proud of Kristin, Lee and their grandchildren.

Jean was like a second mom to me while I lived in Lansing. I met her when I was four. Kristen and Lee where my first two friends when we moved near where they lived. Spent thousands of hours at there house. Sleep overs, playing on the tractor, picnics in the tree house, pop corn and movie night,. I've know Jean and Terry since then. 43 years... So many wonderful memories. You are greatly missed, we are all greatly blessed by your touch in our lives. Prayers for your family for peace and comfort during this very sad time. Much love.

Many wonderful memories. We enjoyed our class reunions. Since we retired we have traveled and enjoyed our friendship, joy, laughter and great memories. I loved our phone visits. So glad that Terry and Jeanne enjoyed their 50th wedding anniversary trip. Jeanne was a beautiful gal inside and out. She loved life.Terry, Kristen, Lee and family were so loved and were the joy of her life. I feel so numb with her loss and will miss her so. Aunt Jeanne was the kindest, sweetest lady and she always made me feel very special. I have the most delightful and wonderful memories of all of our family holidays spent at Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Terry's. They made their homes special and welcoming. She always went out of her way to make our family dinners memorable. Aunt Jeanne was known for her penchant for our Danish family history and always had the neatest stories to tell. She truly cared about everyone she knew. With all graciousness she was a true friend. I will miss her forever.

My prayer is that God will be with Terry, Kristen, and Lee in this time of sorrow.

Unfortunately I have never had the pleasure of meeting Jeanne. Kristin and I have been friends and have served within the deaf and hard of hearing community in West Michigan for many years. When perusing the photo gallery I was not only amazed at how much Kristin looks like her mother but got a definite sense of why I admire and appreciate Kristin so much. One can easily recognize the respect and admiration throughout the generations. They as a family unit not only appeared to be adventurous but were in sync.

God bless this family and support them during this tough time.

You are in our thoughts and in our prayers.

Jeanne & I were friends since 1st grade. We shared so much...birthday parties, slumber parties, school dances, safety patrol, elementary thru junior high classes & hijinks, then high school. We were lucky to reconnect later in life at alumni, class functions & group trips. A highlight of our younger years occurred at her Aunt Dora's House, where we had spent the night. On a small, black & whiteTV we watched the announcement of the discovery of the Salk polio vaccine. She is so much a part of my life that I can't accept that she's gone. My prayers are with her husband, to whom she was devoted, her two children, grandchildren, sisters and friends. She was a selfless & tireless worker. We have lost a lot, but we also had with us, for awhile, a remarkable & admireable child of God. Kittie Bouwman Rudel GHS '62
