AUBURN – Jeannette Laurette Boutin, 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 25, 2016 at Clover Manor in Auburn. She was born in Lewiston on December 28, 1929, the daughter of the late Arthur and Delia (Gagne) Pintal. Jeannette was a devout Catholic who attended St. Phillips Church in Auburn. She attended Mass regularly, and over the years Jeannette served on numerous committees. However, Jeannette's passion in life was singing in the choir. As a longtime member of the choir she was a familiar face to fellow parishioners. Jeannette could be counted on for providing Mass with beautiful spiritual hymns on a weekly basis. She was with the Past Time Club for many years. She would often enjoy bowling in her local league. Jeannette liked to take an occasional trip to play her slots. She was known to be very easy going, and just liked to stay busy, whether it be doing something outside or traveling. On November 10, 1951, Jeannette married the love of her life, Willie Boutin, and they shared a loving marriage of over 40 years.
Jeannette is survived by her two daughters, Diane Maillet and Janet Tweedie; her two sons, Paul Boutin and Richard "Dicky" Boutin; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.. She was predeceased by her husband; her parents; her two brothers and two sisters, and one grandchild.
Friends and family are invited to share their memories and offer their condolences by visiting Jeannette's online guestbook at www.thefortingroupauburn.com.
A visitation will be held from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Fortin/AUBURN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at St. Phillips Church in Auburn.

My heart is so deeply saddened. I have such fond memories of being at Memere and Pepere's house in the summer and Aunt Jeanette walking over. I was so honored when she allowed me to get ready for my wedding at her home. Her smile was contagious and her laugh was infectious. She will be terribly missed.
