Jeannette LaCour St. Clair passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of Curtis Pippins and the late William St. Clair for many years. Loving mother of William St. Clair Jr. (Jennifer), Kathleen Barbier (Ricky), Jude St. Clair (Kelly) and Patrick St. Clair (Tina). She was the oldest daughter of the late Vance LaCour and Alicia Plauche LaCour. Sister of Gretta Ponticelli (Louie), Alicia Kornick (Mike) and the late Larry LaCour (Leslee). Proud grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Also survived by 2 step daughters and many nieces & nephews. Jeannette was born on September 16, 1932 in Plaucheville, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. She believed in an honest, hard day's work and being active while enjoying the company of her friends and family. She would often be found painting or tending to her garden and so loved singing in the choir. She cared deeply for others and made the most from the simple pleasures of everyday life. She'll be fondly remembered for her caring and loving spirit, her laughter, and spoiling the grandchildren. She was well loved and will be deeply missed by us all. We wish you didn't have to leave so soon. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, August 14, 2017 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00 PM. Interment will be private.

Billy, Kitten, Jude and Patrick,
So sorry to hear about Aunt Jeannette. I will always remember her trying to make everyone speak French at the dinner table. Passé moi a la pain. (I think I spelled it correctly!)
I will try to stay in touch. Love
Paulette Bernard
