I was 13 when you entered my life and as a bratty tween I would wake up and think "arent you going soon?". Thankfully those awkward years didnt last as I grew to know and love you as my father. You were there for me in every important, happy, sad, special event in the last 32years. You walked me down the aisle and gave me away at my wedding. You held me when I cried and told me it would be ok. You gave me heck when I needed it. Now I wake up each morning and think "I wish you were coming home soon". I love you and miss you Jeff...my dad.

Mathew 7: 19&20...Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit they will be judged.

It is evident that Jeff bore good fruit. Through his years of service with Canada Post Corp. and the music industry, his love, compassion and strength shone like Jesus. He was a friend, a brother and a hero to me. Jeff lived Jesus every day of his life. When my mother was dying of cancer he sat at the end of her bed and played well into the night to bring her comfort while still working a full day at the Post Office. He took her to the mall where he would escort her in her chair and say "Madam your chariot awaits." At her funeral internment, Jeff against the objections of others put her box of ashes into her chair and wheeled her to her final resting place with my dad and honored her by saying" Your Chariot Awaits". Jeff's graciousness, purity of heart, and kindness displayed the true Love of God to me.
Lord, as you raise my brother,my friend, my hero into your heavenly realm to return again with you on the day you come to get your Saints, I ask that YOU BE Praised and Worshipped as this is not a death of a man but the promotion of one more loving soul into your glorious, victorious army.
John 16:20 In a little while you will see me no more, then, after a while you will see me again. I tell you the truth, you Will grieve, but your grief will turn to Joy.
So! In Jesus Mighty Name! Jeff have a glorious and wonderful adventure as you enter the Kingdom of Heaven ....Until we meet again..my friend. Love Gibb
