Gone to be with her Lord
Peacefully surrounded by her family at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday, April 22nd, 2017 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Jim for 60 years. Loving mother of Jim and his wife Lisa, Joan Doorenspleet and her husband Andy, Rick and his wife Christine, and Doug and his wife Nanette. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren James, Craig, Adam, Rebecca, Jordan, Erin, Sarah, Ryan, Justin, Steven, Jenna, Andrew, Matthew, Daniel and Jonathon, and her 12 great grandchildren. Jenny will be fondly remembered by her extended family and many friends. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Tuesday, April 25th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Celebration of Life will be held at ZION CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH (409 Adelaide Ave., E., Oshawa) on Wednesday, April 26th at 11:00 a.m. Private family interment at Thornton Cemetery. Memorial donations to Gate 3:16 would be appreciated.
