Jeraldine, Taylor (Sager) , 90, passed from this earth on March 6, 2012. Jerry was raised in Riverside by Eugene C. and Lena Sager. She attended Riverside, John Marshall, and North High School and was an active organizer of many 1939 class reunions. Except for the four years she spent with her husband, Walter Taylor Jr. in Chicago, and a brief stint in Hutchinson, Jerry resided in Riverside. It was there that she raised her three children: Drake Taylor (Overland Park), Jill Miller and Jan Taylor, both of Wichita and her granddaughter, Mia Miller Harpel (Houston). Jerry was a service volunteer at Woodland United Methodist Church and a member of the Wichita Quilt Guild and Health Strategies. Jerry will be greatly missed by her brother, Eugene Sager of Overland Park, her three children, granddaughter, great grandson, Gregory Barth, and son-in-law, Bill Anderson. A memorial service will be held 10:00a.m. Tuesday March 13, 2012 at the Kansas Masonic Home Chapel. In honor of Jerry's beloved bullmastiff, Johnwayne, family asks that memorials be made to the Wichita Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
