Obituary

Jerome Joseph Beschoner was born February 28, 1949. He left this earth May 5, 2012. He will be having a heavenly reunion with son Daniel, his parents Hubert and Mary, his sister Connie and her husband Doc Holliday, and brother Mark Beschoner along with his mother and father-in-law Mary Ann and Vincent Flusche. He was a Catholic. U.S. Army Combat Veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the VFW Post #8845. He was proud to be a Veteran and to serve his country and was a recipient of the Bronze Star. Rosary will be said 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 9th at Fentress Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Thursday, May 10th at St....

Rosary will be said 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 9th at Fentress Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Thursday, May 10th at St. Boniface Catholic Church with military honors and burial to follow at the Ft. Smith National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Ft. Smith.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy (Dot), his two sons: Kevin and Dylan both of the home, and brother David B. and his wife Slyvia along with seven sisters: Pat Thurber, Virginia Post, Charolette Warren, Jeannette Kelly and husband Paul, Bernie Slater and husband Bill, Ruthie Boerner and husband Gary, and Judy Beschoner and Dale.

He will be carried home by his friends, pallbearers Dale Spain, Mike Keener, Steve Tedder, Pat Kirkendall, Pete Cockram, John Casey, and Dale Simmons.

Donations may be made to the VFW Post #8845 3005 Tilles Avenue Ft. Smith, AR 72904 where many of his family and friends gather.
