Jerrell Lee "Jerry" Baize, 61, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 28, 2010. He was born in Evansville, Indiana on June 29, 1948 to Charles Rudolph and Mary Haley Baize. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during Vietnam. He was a retired Civil Service Telecommunications Specialist. He is survived by his children, Jennifer Baize Porterfield and husband John of Hutto, TX, Stephanie Baize of San Antonio, Brandon Baize and wife Lesley of San Antonio; and their mother, Nancy Baize of San Antonio; grandson, Jack Rubalcaba of San Antonio; brothers, Jimmie Baize and wife Pam of LeCanto, FL, Mike Baize and Shelly Peterson of Ely, NV and Kevin Baize and wife Vicki of Mt. Carmel, Ill. and numerous nieces and nephews. The visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 North Loop 1604 East, (between Stone Oak Parkway-Voigt Dr. and US Hwy. 281). The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 9:00 A.M. at the funeral home. The interment with military honors will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a contribution to Friends of Friedrich Wilderness Park, www.fofriedrich.com. To offer condolences, please log on to www.sunsetnfuneralhome.com.

Today I was sitting here in South Carolina and something told me to look for your fathers name on the internet I dont know why or what I was looking for maybe a facebook or myspace page but I surely had no I dea I would come across his Obituary.
