Jerry Kent Dellinger, 73, of Greer, devoted husband for 32 years of Phyllis Latham Dellinger, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, June 12, 2017.
He was born in Charlotte, NC to the late Orel Lee Dellinger, Sr and Lala Cherry Dellinger. Jerry worked for Barker Air and Hydraulic Company for 35 plus years.
He leaves one daughter: Leslie Bryant; two sisters: Ruth Dellinger Lail and Cherry Dellinger Corley; one brother: Orel Lee Dellinger; Stepsons: Gregory Walkup (Mary Ann) and Eric Walkup; step-grandchildren: Paul and Sallie Walkup; as well as his special friend Fred the cat. Predeceased by one brother: Charles Harvey Dellinger.
There will be a memorial service Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Mackey Mortuary, 311 Century Dr., Greenville, SC.
Charitable donation may be given to a charity of one's choice.

So sorry to hear about Jerry. I worked 13 years at barker air with him and we had such a great friendship! He will be missed by so many and my love and prayers go out to Phyllis and his family. May God bless you and see you thru this most difficult time
