My deepest condolences go out to his large family and friends. He was such a kind and loving man and what a sense of humor. He was so proud of all his family and I always felt welcome at his house. I met Jerry through Forrest and I'm so glad I did. I'll never forget the stories he told me about how as a child he would catch minnow in the creek behind my warehouse in Catawba and fish all day on the river with that one dip of minnows. His love for his family and his skills as a mechanic were shown in the way his eyes sparkled as he talked of them. Condolences to his girlfriend, I'm sorry I never met her, but he always had kind words. He was a rock in the family circle. I will miss him dearly!- Pop's
