2014
On June 25, 2014, our Lord took a wonderful man full of stories, Jerry Ronald Dickerman, loving husband, father and grandfather. Heaven is now a better place, as they have opened their gates to one of the most gentle and honest souls to have walked the earth. A native of Texas, born in Sherman on September 10, 1934, to William and Edith Dickerman, and resident of Borger, Texas for many years, Jerry had spent his last 15 years in Phoenix, Arizona. Jerry is survived by his wife Wilma and their son, Chuck, along with his wife and three wonderful grandchildren. Jerry's sister, Mary Catherine and brothers Steve and Scott also survive him. In addition, Jerry was a dad to Stephanie and Pamela Newman of Borger, Texas. In total, Jerry had seven
grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway Road, Phoenix, on Thursday evening, July 3, 2014 from 6 to 9 PM. Please go to www.shadowmountainmortuary to leave a message for the family in the Guestbook.

Dad,
I miss you will all my heart, but consider myself fortunate to have had you in my life. Perhaps the greatest legacy that you have left behind is that you have taught me how to be a better dad to my children by your example. We will keep that legacy alive through the next generations, and hold onto your memory.
I love you, Dad.

You are in our thoughts and prayers. I did not know Jerry personally but I work with Chuck. If Chuck is any indication then Jerry must have been a great man.

Jerry, I already miss you. You have been a big part of my life for the last 23 years. I am a better person having had you in my life. You never had a bad thing to say about anyone and always tried to have a positive attitude about life. You were always easy to talk with and a good listener. I always enjoyed your stories and will miss playing Phase Ten with you. I will always remember you with so much love in my heart. I am so blessed to have had you as my Father-in-law!
Love you, Renie
