Jerry Lee McGlothlen, 69, of Laingsburg, Michigan, died August 21, 2014. Jerry was born March 6, 1945, in Des Moines, Iowa to Lemuel Franklin and Anita Maxine (Becker) McGlothlen. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. Jerry married Susan Hosking in 1996 and together they shared 18 wonderful years of marriage. He retired from General Motors in 2004 after 30 years of loyal service. Jerry was active and loved golfing, fishing, and ATV'ing. Jerry Lee McGlothlen, 69, of Laingsburg, Michigan, died August 21, 2014. Jerry was born March 6, 1945, in Des Moines, Iowa to Lemuel Franklin and Anita Maxine (Becker) McGlothlen. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. Jerry married Susan Hosking in 1996 and together they shared 18 wonderful years of marriage. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ernest "Butch" McGlothlen; and niece, Joy McGlothlen.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Susan Hosking; son, Kenneth F. McGlothlen; daughters, Stephanie (Darin) Dyer, Stacie (David) Hansel, and Sherrie (Bill) Molitor; and grandchildren, Hayden Dyer, Zachary and Zoë Molitor.
Per Jerry's request, there will be no service and he will be placed to rest in Iowa.
