Jesus Mena passed away on October 5, 2013 at the age of 66. Mr. Mena was a very successful published author and a technical consultant to numerous multinational corporations and government agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security. His greatest accomplishment was his endearing, "goofy" relationship with his daughter. He loved his music, and lived life to the fullest with his family and friends. He is survived by his daughter Meaghan, wife Deirdre, sister Terri Ochoa, brother-in-law David Ochoa, niece Ninamarie Ochoa, nephew Noah Ochoa, and his lifelong friends Sergio Armijo, Jorge Bustamante, Sean Carney, Tony Diaz, Marcos Gutierrez, Diana Molina, Victor Munoz, and his beloved dog Chino. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, October 10th at Funeraria Del Angel Martin Central where a Vigil will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Arrangements under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Martin Central, 3839 Montana Ave.

The last time you were in the hospital we talked about Breaking Bad & Mariachis..boy did we laugh. I'm going to miss your laugh, the great food, our conversations,and your company.
