It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Jillian Allan in Calgary on Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Jillian was born in Leicester, England on August 4, 1942. She immigrated to Canada in 1966 and immediately knew she had found a new home. Jillian worked in a variety of careers including social service, real estate and education. Jillian was predeceased by her parents Gladys and Ted Wagstaffe of Leicester. A Celebration of Jillian's Life will be held at FOSTER'S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen's Park Cemetery) on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to Wellspring, 1404 Home Road N.W., Calgary Alberta T3B 1G7.
