Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you. I remember meeting Ms.Joann for the first time in Dr. Chase's office. She always had a kind word for me and even took the time to sit and talk with me when my Mom passed away. You could tell in her voice, eyes and smile that she really cared about each person she came into contact with. Once again I'm so very sorry for your loss.

I am truly saddened to learn of Joann 's death. A special lady who was a joy to talk with at so many dinner meetings. She was the one I always wanted to sit by sharing tips on everything from medical business to advice on raising successful children. An angel on earth, now in heaven.

A loved one is a treasure of the heart and losing a loved one is like losing a piece of yourself. But the love that this person brought you did not leave, for the essence of the soul lingers. It cannot escape your heart for it has been there forever. Cling to the memories and let them find their way to heal you. The love and laughter, the joy in the togetherness you shared, will make you strong. You'll come to realize that your time together was meant to be and that you were blessed to have such a precious gift of love in your life. Keep your heart beating with the loving memories and know that life moves on, the beauty of love stays behind to surround and embrace you. Your loved one has left you that ... to hold in your heart forever.

I was saddened to hear of JoAnn's passing during prayer concerns in church yesterday. I know there are few words that can soothe your heart right now.... hopefully knowing that you are being lifted in prayer by those who remember and celebrate JoAnn's life, her accomplishments and her valiant struggle with cancer... can help in this time of grief and also in the days ahead.
