Joann R. Woodford, 78, of Louisville passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014. She was born March 2, 1936 in Coldwater, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Woodford and a son, James "Woody" Woodford.

She is survived by a daughter, Kris Gnagie (Mike), 4 grandchildren, Robert, Matthew, James and Heather, and one great-grandson.

A celebration of Joann's life will be conducted Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Ms. Woodford was a very kind woman. I had known her for years from coming into Kentucky Farm Bureau and I am deeply sadden to hear of her loss....

My husband, Carl, worked with Joann for many yrs at Levys. We went to Las Vegas once together. Ran into Joann often at Meijers. We will miss her.
