Joanne M. Gunther, 70, of Union, NJ passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on April 3, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Robert Gunther. Loving mother of Danielle Gunther Han and her husband Paul, Matthew Gunther and his wife Shannon, and Stephanie Douglas and her husband Glenn. Dear sister of Dolores Leddy and the late Kenneth Schmitt and Sr. Charlene Schmitt. Adoring grandmother of Alexander Han, Abigail Joanne Han, Evan Gunther, Adrianna Gunther, and Brandon Douglas.Visitation will take place on Monday, April 7th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Ave., Union. A mass will be offered at St. Theresa's Church, Kenilworth on Tuesday, April 8th at 10 AM, with interment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Joanne's name to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718 Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73123.
