Jobyna Marie Breaux passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the age of 83. She was the beloved companion of Jay Santinie, and beloved wife of the late Ralph Breaux; mother of Wayne Breaux and the late Paulette Bonvillion; mother-in-law of Priscilla Breaux and Ellis Sevin II.; grandmother of Ellis Sevin III., Krystle Naquin, Tess Migliaccio, Sandy Hilton, Wayne Breaux Jr., Kirby Breaux, Dennis Kearn, Elyvin Bonvillion, Danny Rodriguez, and Craig Rodriguez; great grandmother of 17. Daughter of the late Lawrence Fricky and Odelia Falgout Fricky. She was a lifelong resident of Westwego, and resided her last years in Wynhoven Health Care. She loved to fish, dance, travel, and gamble. She got to travel to several states with her family, and loved her trips to the casino. The best time for the family as mother, father, and children was at the camp on Bayou Signette, where they loved to water ski, and trips to Grand Isle every year in June. She was employed at Schwegmann's Grocery Store in Harvey from 1965 until 1982. If she could have finished school, she would have loved to have been a nurse. Her son Wayne, daughter-in-law Priscilla, and companion Jay were honored to be able to care for her during her last years, returning some of the love and care that she showered on her family through the decades.
