I had the distinct pleasure of working with Jodie from 1984 to 1993. I've never met a finer man. Later I had the pleasure of working the beat next to him and after his retirement I was given his old "beat" to work. Those were big shoes to fill. We all looked up to him in awe and respect and he always took care of us "rookies". We lost a great man but Heaven is richer for it!! God Bless you and the family...you are in our prayers.

My prayers go out to this loving family at this time of grief. When I first arrived in Pensacola, I knew no one and Sharon was one of my first friends and took me out to "410" for a Sunday dinner, where I was made to instantly feel like I was part of this wonderful family. I will never forget their kindness. I hurt for your loss and know he will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
