Joe V. Valdez, 81, passed away on May 11, 2017. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margarita Z. Valdez, mother Ernestina Valdez, father Jose R. Valdez, brother Robert Valdez, and sister Ofelia Furney. He is survived by his wife, Diamantina Valdez, his loving Step-Mother Eva Valdez, his loving daughters, Cecilia Valdez, Viviane Castaneda, and husband, Eddie Castaneda, Ernestina Valdez-Meyers and husband, James Meyers, his granddaughters Sara and Olivia Castaneda, his sister, Connie Garcia, brother, Edward Valdez and a host of loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on May 17, 2017 with Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at Crespo Funeral Home 4136 Broadway Street, Houston, Texas 77087. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church 6736 Whitefriars Drive, Houston, Texas 77087 on May 18, 2017 at 11:00 am. Internment immediately following at Forest Park Lawndale 6900 Lawndale Ave, Houston, Texas 77023.
