Dear Courtney,
The death of your father saddens me, as we only had that one time to visit when you all came to our reunion. I am so sorry. I will cherish that memory and thank you for coming with him. I hope you have good memories to keep you comforted now and always. My sympathies to you and your family.
Love to you,
Brenda

Joe and Jerry were classmates of both my wife and myself at De Queen High School. Even though they were nothing alike, they were both very much liked by their classmates. After graduation we all went our separate ways--Jerry pursuing a career in radio as many of us were off to college. I guess I would have to say that between the two brothers, Joe would be my favorite. Joe was quiet and reserved but would definitely express his opinion. Joe will be missed by family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers go with his dear family, as well as with Joe. Until we all see the Heavenly Father, God bless you. Mike and Brenda Beltrani

My sympathy to the family. I grew up in Nashville and counted Joe and Jerry among my best friends. That friendship continued even when they became Leopards and Panthers. And I always thought his sister, Janet, was the most beautiful woman ever to walk the earth. Never had the pleasure of meeting any of his kids and grandkids, but it is evident from the photo album that it is a large and loving bunch. My best to you all.

I want to wish my condolences to Joe's family and friends on behalf of James and John Travis. Joe was a classmate and friend. Joe and Jerry used to come to our house and we went to theirs, my dad bought his cars from Agee, we were friends until he moved to DeQueen, and after he moved back he often stopped to visit my mother at Coopers Store and brother John. He was a good man and I am sorry for your loss.
