He was Vice Chairman of the American Symphony Orchestra League, President of the Oklahoma City Symphony Orchestra, and President of the Petroleum Club of Oklahoma City. Jack was a founding member of the University of Oklahoma President's Associates and the recipient of the Regents' Alumni Award. He was Senior Warden for the Vestry at All Souls' Episcopal Church. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Tom and Bob and his son Douglas Lee. He is survived by his wife Jo Ann (Eaton); Jack and Ann celebrated 68 years of marriage. Others surviving are his son Jerry and wife Carol Sue, daughters Kay Susan Taylor and Jacqueline Ann (Taylor) Garrett and husband Daniel. Please forgive me for just finding out. My Love and condolences to the Taylor Family for their loss. I know how you feel and I want you to know this that it does get better and that the LOVE that Mr. Taylor gave to so many and most of all, he continually gave to his family, it LIVES FOREVER. I worked for Mr. Taylor for a year until I went back to school and I learned a lot of life lessons from him, wife and family. They taught me to never let anything stand in my way, and to continue to pursue your dreams. Be Blessed and Much LOVE.
