John C. Martin, age 66, of Fall River, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017 in St. Luke's Hospital surrounded by his caregivers.
Born in Fall River, a son of the late John E. and Marguerite M. (Wilson) Martin, he was a life-long area resident and resided at Borden West Place where he was a member of their Board.
John attended Community Connections, the Paul Dever School and has been affiliated with People Incorporated since 1975.
An avid bowler, he enjoyed baseball, swimming, music, watching western movies and singing karaoke. He loved attending wrestling matches and was a huge John Cena fan.
Full of life, he had an amazing smile that would light up a room and was known for blowing kisses and bringing a smile to others. He had a great sense of humor and was so loving and caring. He will sadly be missed by everyone who knew him and cared for him.
He is survived by one sister, Linda Cote,dear friend Dottie, many cousins and all of his friends at Community Connections. He was the brother of the late Marguerite Brown who he adored.
His Memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 10:30AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter Street, Fall River, MA 02720.
