John Clay Wise, age 64, died on September 14, 2016 in Nashville, TN.
He was born in Petersburg, TN on April 27, 1952 and graduated from Giles County High School in 1970. He was preceded in death by his parents, Coy Malvin and Lucy Amanda Minatra Wise, and brothers, Bill, Bob and Dorn Wise.
Visitation will begin on Sunday, 9-18-16, at 12 noon until Funeral Service time at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Old Orchard Cemetery in Petersburg, TN.
Memorials may be made to the Lupus Foundation, 4004 Hillsboro Pike, Suite 216-B, Nashville, TN 37215, Old Orchard Cemetery Fund or any charity of your choice in memory of John Wise.
Survivors are: daughters, Angela Wise Perkins of Springville, AL, Melissa Wise Reeves and Micah of Rainbow City, AL, Valerie Vice Stanford and Jason of Odenville, AL, brothers, Dwayne Wise of Starkville, MS, Randy Wise of Madisonville, TX, Larry Wise of Decatur, AL, Ted Wise of Whitehouse, TN, sister, Linda McNutt of Memphis, TN, 8 Grandchildren.
