John Daniel “Dan” Brennan, 72, of St. Albans, passed away September 9, 2017.



He was born August 15, 1945 in Valejo, CA, the son of Edward J. and Helen Hagan Brennan, both of whom preceded him in death.



Dan was retired from Union Carbide after 28 years of service. He was a US Coast Guard Veteran. He was an avid coin collector, enjoyed making model planes, fishing and camping.



He is survived by his children, Shelly Sanders (Russ), John Daniel Brennan, II, grandchildren, Jonathan Sanders, Gwendalynn, and Evelynn Brennan, sister, Sue Ellen Brennan, all of St. Albans.



Celebration of Dan’s life will be 12:00 P.M. Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, 110 B Street, St. Albans. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston.



Gathering of family and friends will be from 10 until time of service.
