Dear family of John and Doris, Pat and I enjoyed our friendship with your parents so much in the short time we were "fellow snow birds" in Arizona. We met at our beloved church, St. Benedicts and always enjoyed going out to breakfast with them after 9:00 Sunday mass, especially to John's favorite spot, Keegans! We had to sell our Phoenix home reluctantly, due to Pat's health issues and insurance. But we will always remember those good times there with your folks. I know you realize how special your parents were, and how many lives they touched. Love to you all.

Hoag Family,
It was with sadness that I read about the passing of your father that I have not seen in a number of years.
Our prayers and sympathies go out to you, as you truly had a tremendous father. For many years while you lived in Visitation, I enjoyed the relationship with your father and mother and have not talked to him in the last few years.
I know many of you went to school with my children and they recall your dad as well.
Our prayers are with you.

To the Hoag family,
I am so sorry about your loss. Your Dad was such a grand man and will be miss by many. I know he is up in heaven with your Mom looking down with great pride at all of you.
At time like this I like to recall the Irish Blessing "May God hold him in the palm of his hand until you meet again...

Dear Hoag family - our condolences at the loss of your dad. I have many good memories of you all, and your parents, from "back in the day" on 52nd Street. Your folks were good people, always good to me. May John and Doris rest in peace, and may you all come to know peace. AND, may we live our lives to reflect the best that our parents taught us. Love from Jim and Mary Beth LeCluyse

Seeing your Dad's obituary in the paper this morning brought back memories
from years ago. I knew your Dad from the TWA Training Center. My sister, one of our friends and I were "Gray Ladies" at St. Luke's Hospital on Wednesday nights. On at least three occasions, we saw your Dad rushing in with your Mom who was about to give birth. He told me they planned it to be on a Wednesday evening so one of us would be able to wheel your Mom to the Maternity Floor. My husband and I send our deepest sympathy to all of John's family. - Maria Eades
