HARNETT, John "Jack", 90, of New Haven, VT formerly of Waldwick and Hillsdale, NJ on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. John was born in Lacconeen, County Kerry, Ireland to Patrick and Mary Hartnett. Beloved husband of the late Eileen (nee Curtin) Harnett. Devoted father of Mary Carabellese and her husband Frank, Eileen Lawson and her husband Tom, and Sally Bartro and her husband Tom. Dear brother of Maurice Hartnett. Devoted grandfather of Michael Carabellese and his fiancé Jessica, Katie and Dan Lawson, and Sean and Patipol Harnett Bartro. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. The family will gather with their relatives and friends for the Funeral Liturgy at St. Luke's R.C. Church, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ on Saturday at 10AM. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Friday 3-7PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Jack's name to Vermont Chapter American Parkinson's Association, apdaparkinson.org or StPetersvt.com would be appreciated.
