John Maxwell Cardwell, age 74, of Sylacauga, passed away May 15, 2017. He is survived by his Son; Jonathan Cardwell (Dalisha), daughters; Mary Cardwell, Janice Maddox (Kevin), Jade Cardwell, Jennifer Jennings (Kyle), Deirdre Osbourn (Robert), wife; JoAnn Cardwell, eight grandchildren, and eleven Great-Grandchildren. Mr. Cardwell Retired after 45 years of service with Avondale Mills. His pallbearers will be Kevin Maddox, Matt Hope, Kyle Jennings, Wesley Brasher, Joey Sanders, and Bobby Sims. Honorary pallbearers are Blake Kelly, Kaden Williamson, Maddox Greene, Oakley Brasher, Philip TwoRivers. Funeral services will be held at Curtis and Son North Chapel Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 11AM with Rev. Rick Deerman Officiating. A visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5PM until 8 PM.
