John Pierce Clement, Jr. was born to John Pierce and Nettie Mae Clement in Shreveport, Louisiana, on February 23, 1939. John was a National Merit Scholar and graduated from Odessa Permian High School. He later studied and received a degree in Computer Science at UTPB in Odessa, Texas where he resided until 2007. He enjoyed singing, playing his guitar, Ham Radio, and computer programming. He was a member of the Masons Lodge 955 in Odessa, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Evelyn Clement. His surviving family members include his sisters Helen Janet Glenn and Judy Mapp Jones along with several nieces and nephews in Odessa and in the DFW area. Visitation will be from 9am to 10am on Saturday November 18 at The Woods United Methodist Church. Funeral services will begin at 10am at The Woods UMC followed by the burial service at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens in Grand Prairie, Texas.
