Beacon Ministry has just learned of Jack's passing. I tried to call him today to invite him to our Beacon Trivia fundraiser to be held on April 21, and found his number no longer in service. Jack was a supporter of Beacon's Trivia fundraisers for the past five years I have been with Beacon. He was a wonderful man who I always enjoyed talking to. We offer our sympathy and wanted to let his family know how much we appreciated his support. We will miss him!

We will truly miss Jack's visits in our office. He loved to bring trivia questions in to ask my mom and me. He also taught my mom several hilarious jokes we will never forget! I know he really enjoyed trying to stump us. He will be greatly missed.

Mr. Sauer taught my son, Jacob, at MCS. Jacob loved having him in class, and spoke of it every time he subbed. I'm sure he was a very special man, and I am saddened that I never had the chance to meet him. Our condolences to your family.

Mr. Sauer was a great man. I had him as a substitute teacher for many years as a student of MCS. He was very funny and always passionate about trivia. Mr. Sauer used to ask pop culture questions at the end of his classes and give candy to students for answering the questions correctly. He typically used the same question list, so we got around to memorizing the answers over time. We always ended up with pockets full of Starbursts and Smarties, and plenty of laughs and smiles thanks to him. He will be dearly missed.
