John Auer Obituary

Auer, John W., born in Sharon, Pennsylvania on October 19, 1923. After high school, he served in WWII as a medic in the Army. He participated in the Battle of the Bulge and earned a Bronze Star at war's end. Pastor Auer was ordained as a Pastor on June 11, 1951 by his father, Philip Auer, at his home church in Galion, Ohio. He served as a Lutheran Pastor for 60 years, serving churches in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Florida. He is survived by his daughter Miriam and son-in-law Albert Zella, 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He departs the world as a servant of Christ and His church. A memorial service will take place at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 3016 W. Vine Street in Kissimmee, on Friday, July 1st, at 2pm. Arrangements under the direction of Grissom Funeral Home and Crematory, Kissimmee, FL.

Mirian & Albert and families, our Sympathies to you. On June 13, 2003, Pastor Auer and Naomi, came to our ranch in Stonewall, Texas. On a little hill over looking valleys of land, Pastor Auer married us at 4:ooPM, Naomi was our attendend and witness. They blessed our marriage and our lives. Two very special people who enriched lives as they went about their lives. We will miss them.

A manof God whos booming voice could be heard by all. my first memories of Pr John was watching a man and a woman so in love walking together every sunday into church. after so many years of marriage and you could see Gods handiwork in them! it was just so inspiring! May God wrap his loving arms around both him and Naomi and grant the only kind of peace that God gives to Miriam, Al and his family. he will be missed by all of us at Trinity Lutheran church
