John was a very special person. He touched the lives of so many of us in such positive and caring ways. He was always there for me and others. He was a kind and gentle soul. John also enjoyed a good laugh and funny pranks. He had a little bit of imp in him that made time spent with him so enjoyable.
He brightened my life and I will miss his friendship.

John was always willing help me no matter the request, he was always there for his friends without question.
His main concern was always for the people he loved. He was the type of man who put everyone else first.
I will miss our talks and the sound of his laughter when his many pranks caught me off guard. I will always remember and miss my friend.

Like the force of water finding a path through a mountain and forming a river where there was no path before, John had his own special way of forging through challenges and coming out on the other side. He found his way into our hearts and will live there FOREVER. We have so many precious memories that Johnny was not only a part of, but helped to create. He was a great friend to many, but he was "my guy", and he knew it. His passage to "the other side" and into God's glory is a tremendous blessing and we will be forever blessed for having known him and being touched by him on this side. Thank you, Johnny, for the laughs, for the memories, for the Christmas Eves, the 9:30 Saturday morning phone calls that saved me, the tree in the back yard, the Christmas lights, the parades, the household repairs we shared, all the times we listened to each other and "just knew". God only made one you and we are so grateful that he shared you with us. We love you...
