Obituary

Funeral service for John J. (Johnny) Brown age 65 of Anniston will be Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. at Eulaton 1st Baptist Church with Rev. Bryan Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 6:00 until 8:00 at Gray Brown Service Mortuary. Mr. Brown passed away Sunday at his residence surrounded by his family. Survivors include his wife Deborah H. (Debbie) Brown of Anniston, a daughter Elizabeth Brown Smith (Todd) of Anniston, a son Chad E. Brown (Crystal) of Anniston, grandchildren Chad Couch (Shianne), Torey and CeLena Couch, Macie, Morgan and Micah Lee, one great grandchild Ivy...

Survivors include his wife Deborah H. (Debbie) Brown of Anniston, a daughter Elizabeth Brown Smith (Todd) of Anniston, a son Chad E. Brown (Crystal) of Anniston, grandchildren Chad Couch (Shianne), Torey and CeLena Couch, Macie, Morgan and Micah Lee, one great grandchild Ivy Renee Walker, his sister Sandra Nall of Irving, Texas, his brother Don Brown (Jean) of Anniston and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Brown is preceded in death by his parents F.J. and Eva Mae Brown and a brother Larry Hugh Brown.
Pallbearers will be Danny Layman, Michael Brown, Brad Jones, Gary Harper, Wayne Pate, Dennis Langley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cecil Ledbetter, Tim Jones and Mt Chehea HOG Chapter 3476.
Mr. Brown was a native and lifelong resident of Anniston, Al., he served in the Navy during Vietnam from 1968 – 1972. He retired from Southwire. He was a member of NRA, History Club, Moss Branch Shooting Club and a member of Eulaton 1st Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, boating, camping, shooting and nurturing plants. A special thanks to his caregivers.
