John Robert "JC" Campbell passed away peacefully in his sleep Nov. 16, 2012. He was born Oct. 13, 1951 in Gunnison, CO. Predeceased by his parents, John Thomas and Sylvia Nell Kilpatrick Campbell. Survived by siblings, Sylvia Moreschini and Jim and Thomas Campbell, all of Pueblo, and Vicky (Don Johnson) Rowland of Gunnison; nieces and nephews, Thad and Natasha Campbell, Craig and Renae (Lysandro Filo) Moreschini, and Joshua and Jeremy Rowland; and great-nephew, Riley Rowland. Special thanks to his life-long friend, Marvin Riensch. John's passions were riding his Harley, guns, and exploring the mountains and history of his beloved Crested Butte. He was a proud, generous, hardworking man who had a heart of gold. He will be sadly missed. John was a member of the Combat Vets Motorcycle Association. In lieu of flowers, please donate a new toy in memory of John for the Toy Run at 28 Stanford before Dec. 1. Celebration of life, 2:00 p.m. Sat., Dec. 1, at the VFW Hall, 127 E. Spaulding in Pueblo West.

I was so sorry to hear about John passing. I didn't hear about it until Saturday. Even though I had not seen him in a while I considered him an old friend. He will certainly be missed by many.

My sincere condolences for John's passing. He was always so friendly to most everyone... he was a part of our class of 1970 and he will never be forgotten. May those who survive him remember his positive traites, as we of the class of 1970 shall.
