Daniel and Steve and families,

We were very sorry to hear about Uncle John. He will be missed so much. He touched so many lives with his kindness and clever, quick wit! He was so happy to have had the chance to meet his new great granddaughter and told us about it in his Christmas card. I know my mother Becky will miss her phone calls with the big brother that always spoiled her and made sure she took care of herself.

Our love,

Lisa, Mike, Alysha and David Thompson

Mr. Cardwell was one of those people that I will never forget. He was "old school" all the way. I last talked to him at the Memorial Day Service at Roselawn in 2011. I will always remember his smile and pleasant demeanor. John and Steve my sincere, heartfelt sympathy to both of you. I hope to see you Sunday John.
