What a great guy. He was a super great father for Shaun and I won't ever forget him. He was there for us during the good and bad times. Enjoyed all those truck driving contests we went to see. He is truly in a better place.

I have truly lost the best grandfather i could ever ask for. I looked up to you. You were my hero. I have so many great memories with you and grandma. I'm so sad that you will never get to hold your unborn great grandchild. However I will make sure that I share all my memories and pictures with my child. I still think you are here. So many times I have picked up my cell phone to call and check in to only realize that you won't pick up the phone. My life is missing a very important person in it. Thank you for everything you ever did for myself your family and friends. I love you. Say hi to grandma, mom and Jeannine for me. I know this is not goodbye but it's see you later.

I could not have expressed myself any better then what my brother and sister -n-law has wrote. I remember how supporting John was when our mother passed away. Then he and daddy working on the mountain cabin. Alway talking about trucks and the depression era. These men supported their family well. Not to mention wisdom, humor, and the love of BIG TRUCKS. God bless you all. I'm coming home in June. Let all get together.

One of the "special" things about working at the Seattle Division of Safeway Stores trucking department, was John Clark. Always there with a "how ya doin fella"? and a tug on your shoulder or a shake of your hand., a big smile and many laughs. We worked hard, and sometimes it was John's duty to get up in the middle of the night as a safety supervisor, and see if he could be of special help when things didn't go as "planned".
John loved his job, the people he worked with and for, and would never ask anyone to do something, that he wouldn't do himself.
He was a man's man, a pleasure to work for and with. Above all, a good friend!

To All Of John's Family,
We must first admit that we have really struggled with sitting down and writing this note to all of you.
The world has lost A TRULY WONDERFUL GENTLEMAN, but heaven has gained ONE GREAT SOUL.
Some people come into our lives and quickly go, others stay for a while and they leave foot prints on our hearts and because of them we are never the same.
There are times when the right words just don't seem to exist, times when feelings are too deep to express. At this very sad and difficult time, may it help you to know that caring thoughts and prayers are with each of you.
If ever asked to describe John, we would/must say he was very caring, kind, sincere, fun, loving, devoted, extraordinary, very giving of his time and many talents, and a very hard working gentleman, he loved to talk to everyone, and he really liked anything and everything that had to do with trucks and the trucking industry.
May all of your wonderful memories help you through this most difficult time.
We shall truly miss his presence in our home and in our lives.
Gone from our SIGHT, but not from our HEARTS.

He is one of the extra ordinary person I've ever met. In fact, I treat him like my father. I really miss you "Big Guy!" I will remember you in my prayers...
