Please accept our deepest sympathies. Our hearts ache for your loss. Unfortunately, we did not know of Mr. Cooke's passing until today or we would have been there for his services. You & your family are in our thoughts & prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. Thurston was such a sweet, kind man and always asked about my family when he saw me. He knew all about relationship with others. He was a friend to all he met and always had a kind word. He will be deeply missed!

We didn't get to know Thurston well since we'd been at DBBC for only a short time before moving to the Northgate campus. But from his demeanor and always kind words for us at Young at Heart dinners, he will be long remembered. Billy and Frieda Hart

I'm going to miss our conversations, buddy. You were one of the first friends I made when we came to Dallas Bay in 2002. I always looked forward to those unexpected times that I would run into you at the convenience stores near Chattanooga state of a morning and we would share a laugh or two and it made the work day alot more easier to do. I feel honored to have been blessed with your smile and friendship as a brother. Heaven is gaining a shining star and gentleman and earth is a little dimmer.
It's not farewell forever, only goodbye for now...We will be meet again my brother, Your friend always in Christ,
